Job DescriptionWe are looking for a confident and experienced fleet manager to optimize the total process of vehicle procurement, vehicle maintenance, vehicle asset management and fleet services. With a strong focus on compliance, optimization, and cost effectiveness. Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet.Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicle.Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed.Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules.Coordinating Drivers and on-staff maintenance professionals when setting employee schedulesManaging vehicle licensure and registrationEnsuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up-to-date trainingMonitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practicesSearching for, hiring and training new DriversProviding reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progressDeveloping methods to decrease cost and improve efficiencyFleet Managers typically work for industries as a member of operations teams to ensure efficient transportation of company products from manufacturing plants to clients or retail locations. They stay up-to-date on transportation laws and regulations to ensure they have the correct permits to transport goods. Their job is to respond quickly to changes to reroute or reschedule Drivers to maximize transportation time. Benefits:Offer will be given After Interview Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Logistics.Minimum 3+ years of fleet management experienceMinimum 3+ years of experience in transport industry preferably RentalsThorough knowledge of Libya automotive market and vehicle laws and regulations.Great written and verbal communication skillsExcellent leadership skills, including goal-setting, motivation and trainingExpert knowledge of best driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance and other industry practicesBasic math and data analysis skillsFamiliarity with transportation scheduling and management softwareUnderstanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are neededAbility to set and monitor a budgetGood problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skillsExceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilitiesKeen attention to detail Job Types: Full-time.
